Boots are made for walking

I recently went shopping and accidently fell into Primark again. I wanted to talk about how good their footwear range is now they're bringing in the autumn/winter stock. I must admit it does make me excited for the season of pumpkin chai lattes, fireworks and the crisp cold air (did I just say that?! - I hate the cold) but I'm not letting myself get excited for all that until I've been on my jollys (holiday for those of you not into your rhyming slang).

The first pair I picked up were a black pair with embroidered butterfly and flowers on them. They are black faux suede with the detail on the side. Perfect with leggings, jeans or even skirt/dresses. They are just over the ankle in height and have a small but chunky heel on them. I just feel they glam up an outfit and at a steal at just £14.

I've got a bag that I got for my birthday which matches with these, faux suede with embroidered flowers on. I find it really turns a casual outfit into something a bit more sophisticated. This bag was from deichmann.

This is my birthday bag and it was only £17.

The other pair of boots I picked up, my sister and I had been pining over for a few weeks until pay day! They remind me of the Chloe' Susanna boots which retail for £850 (If you was around in the blogging world in 2009 you'll remember the buzz for these) so when you can imagine how impressed I was by these Primark dupes at £16.00.

Let me know any Autumn/winter bargains you've seen.

I carried a watermelon?

Back in April, I went to the theatre and this was the first time in about 8 years! long overdue. My boyfriend had booked it as a surprise for me after he remembered I said I'd always wanted to see Dirty Dancing in theatre, as it is one of my favourites! (Major boyfriend points for taking note when I didn't even think he was listening ha!) With babysitter arranged (again by Ian) we headed to Milton Keynes theatre to watch Dirty Dancing.

Before we watched the show we went for dinner at TGI Fridays which was my first time there and I loved it! I would insert an Instagram worthy picture here but unfortunately I was too keen and demolished it. I will tell you i had the TGI hot dog with melted cheese and bacon bits on top and it was lovely!

So after dinner we headed about 100 yards to the theatre, waited in line for some refreshments and headed up to the theatre hall to find our seats.

The lights were turned off and the above picture was screened along with the opening song from the Dirty Dancing classic based in the 60's. It ran for around 2 hours and included an interval. I have to say I Absolutely loved it! The cast and crew had really studied the film and characters and just made me fall in love with the film even more!  They stuck to the story and I honestly loved it from start to finish!

The Cast were really brilliant performers and made the show what it was. I honestly couldn't give it enough praise.

I have high praise for the Lady that played Penny she was an amazing dancer! just like the character in the film. Also for the lady who played Lise Houseman, she was great and added comedy to the show! I believe the show is still currently touring so be quick!

Would recommend to anyone wanting to go see a theatre show!

Let me know what shows you've seen/would love to see.
